FAQ

A: NO: Our fleet consists of used Ford E350 15 passenger vans. Our fleet is very well maintained. We clean and fully service each van when it returns from a rental.
A: YES: We offer FREE delivery and pick up to anywhere in San Diego county including airports, schools, churches, homes and businesses. We require a 3 day minimum rental for free delivery and pick up. Delivery and pick up fees apply to Los Angeles and Orange County rentals (ask for details).
A: All drivers must be age 21 or older with a valid drivers license, proof of liability insurance and carry a major credit card in his/her name. We provide US coverage if needed for an additional charge. Corporate and church insurance policies are accepted. Out of country licenses are also accepted.
A: We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover, Master/Visa debit cards, Cash, Corporate Checks, Church Checks, and Traveler's Cheques.
A: YES: We allow our vans to go as far as Vicente Guererro, Mexico (175 miles south of the San Diego/Tijuana border). Mexico insurance required to travel into Mexico and must be purchased through ASAP Rent A Van.
A: YES: We allow limited travel in California, Arizona and Nevada (ask for details).
A: Our rates vary on availability, time of season, distance traveled, and number of days rented. We would be glad to offer a discounted rate for any large groups or long term rental. A: ASAP Rent A Van is not responsible for anything left in the rental van. However, if an item is found in a rental van, it will be turned into lost and found at the rental location. Please call us for more information.

  1. Damage to a Rental Van: A person who rents a van from ASAP Rent A Van is responsible for the safe return of the rental van in the same condition in which it was rented, except for normal wear and tear. Renters are held responsible for all damages to the rental van including loss of use should the van be damaged in an accident regardless of fault. Whether or not you caused the accident, you may be asked to pay for the damages. This includes the total cost of replacing the van in case of a total loss. The renter is responsible for checking the van during the initial rental process.

  2. Rental Van Gasoline: A person who rents a van from ASAP Rent A Van is responsible for returning the rental van with the same amount of gasoline. The renter is responsible for checking the van before departure and upon returning the rental van. If the renter fails to return the van with the proper level of fuel, a charge of $5.00/gallon will be added to the estimated rental charges.
A: Give yourself ample time to return your van(s). Most airports advise that you arrive 2 - 3 hours before your scheduled flight. Your van should be checked for damage at the time of return by you. If there is new damage, you may be required to fill out a damage report.
A: YES: We do sell some of the vans that we no longer use. E-mail us if you are interested in buying one of the vans from our fleet.
